The Asian Professional Exchange of Dallas was founded on May 2003 through the merger of two existing asian professional organizations, PA 2 and APA-YPO.
About PA 2
The Asian American Professionals of Dallas (PA 2 ) was founded in August of 1996 by a group of
young Asian Americans in the D/FW area who wanted to organize interest amongst professionals
of all Asian ethnicities. PA 2 is a non-profit organization dedicated to uniting all persons for
cultivating social, professional, and community relationships. PA 2 is affiliated with NAAAP, the
National Association of Asian American Professionals, a consortium of groups throughout the

About APA-YPO
Founded in 2001 by the DFW chapter of OCA (Organization of Chinese Americans), the Asian
Pacific American Young Professionals Organization (APA-YPO) is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization established to help members develop professionally, personally, and culturally to
enable outstanding achievement, while promoting the cultural heritage, welfare, and civil rights of
