The Women's Museum is seeking instructors
to teach basic computer
training. You will receive a $50 stipend per class. The first
class will
start on Tues. Oct. 29 and the series will end on Sat. Dec. 21.
No prior teaching experience required - just familiarity with
the subject
matter! Instructors are to teach people with no prior computer experience.
Classes are offered/taught at The Women's Museum (3800 Parry Avenue,
Dallas,
TX 75226). Everything (classroom, projector, screen, etc.) will
be setup
for you, and the Museum will provide all class materials, handouts,
etc.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in
computer
training!
The classes offered and dates are attached.
The computer lab has been upgraded to Windows 2000 and Office
XP. After
you signed up for the class you would like to teach, Nancy Hong
will forward
you the materials for the class you selected to teach. She is requesting
your help in putting the materials in the Power Point format. Also,
once
you received the materials, she would appreciate input on ways to
deliver
the class materials better if you see a need.
Again, The Women's Museum couldn't have taught 347 students
without your
help. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
