On June 21, APEX offers you a unique community service opportunity to relieve some stress and have some fun for a great cause. Come join us as we bash out some drywall in our first ever Drywall Demolition to be held at Vickery Meadow Learning Center (VMLC) in Dallas. There will be tools available at this remodeling project, but feel free to bring your own instrument of destruction or props to get you motivated! Let's just keep in mind: Safety First.

(VMLC is a 501c3 nonprofit agency dedicated to improving literacy levels among non-English speaking adults by providing programs in communication and life skills. It does so in the belief that literacy contributes to independence, productivity, and the overall well-being of adult learners, their families, and the greater community).

APA-YPO Toastmasters Club, as our club name indicates, was established
last year in April by APA-YPO, which has since merged with PA2 to become APEX. Our club is currently in transition.

We're happy to extend our warmest welcome to everyone in APEX to come and experience a Toastmasters Club. For those unfamiliar with Toastmasters, it's an international organization that's been established since 1924, dedicated to promoting and practicing public speaking in a safe, familiar and supportive environment. Our local club comes together weekly as a group and meet for an hour and fifteen minutes. It's opportunity to improve your speaking skills, think on your feet and gain leadership experience through leading meetings as well as meet new people, make new friends and have a lot of fun doing it!
