Youth Leadership Program"

Only a few openings remain in the Youth Leadership class being sponsored
by APEX
Toastmasters Club. The class begins Saturday, September 11th.
The eight-week course in the essentials of oral communication and
leadership is being provided to young people at no charge, according
to James Song, Youth Leadership Chairman for the local Toastmasters
Club. James said the Youth Leadership course was developed by Toastmasters
International, a worldwide communication and leadership organization,
specifically for young people. The program offers young people an
opportunity to learn more effective speaking, analytical listening
and critical thinking. It also provides practice in conducting a meeting
properly.
Parents who are interested in their boys or girls, ten years and older

2004 Taiwan Overseas High-Tech Talent Recruiting

Talent Recruiting event, which will take place at Renaissance Hotel,
900 E. Lookout Drive, Richardson, TX 75082 on September 14, Tuesday.
In order to recruit overseas talent, the Ministry of Economic Affairs,
the National Youth Commission and the National Science Council organized
a recruiting mission in October 1995 to recruit high-tech talent in
the US and Canada. The same operation was repeated in 1997, 2000,
2001, 2002 and 2003.
Eighteen companies and at least 2,000 job seekers are expected to
participate this year (2004). All interested parties are welcome to
contact their local Taiwan representative office (or other local co-sponsors),
or sign up directly at our high-tech talent recruiting website http://hirecruit.nat.gov.tw.
Your participation is not only sincerely welcomed, it also contributes
to the significance of this recruiting mission. We look forward to
