05/04/08 APEX Spring Picnic

Location: Harrington Park, 401 West 16th Street (just North of Collin Creek Mall), Plano TX 75075
Cost: FREE for members, $5 for non-members

It's Springtime, so come and have some fun in the sun! Please join us at our annual spring picnic at Harrington Park in Plano. We will be grilling up some food and enjoying friendly games of sand volleyball, flag football and horseshoes. Or if you’re not into sports, just come hang out and socialize. There is plenty of open space so bring your dogs, your kids, and just have a fun day out in the park! Please RSVP to Stephanie so we can get a headcount for food and drinks.

Directions to the park:
From downtown Dallas: Take Hwy 75 North, exit 15th street and head west (left), turn right (north) onto Alma Drive, turn right (east) onto West 16th street. The park will be on your left next to the Plano Senior Center. You will see a pavilion with picnic tables.

From the North: Head South on Hwy 75, take the 15th street exit and turn right (west) onto West 16th street. The park will be on your right next to the Plano Senior Center. You will see a pavilion with picnic tables.

If you're new to APEX or interested in joining the organization, then please come out and meet us at Starbucks on Campbell and 75/Central Expressway. This is a chance for YOU to get to know the officers and the organization better. We'll be there sipping on coffee and ready to muse on any topics.

If you're a regular member and just need a simple pick-me-upper in the middle of the work week, please also feel free to come out and enjoy a mocha latte or espresso with us.

The newly renovated X Club is bringing out Multi-Lingual Pop Artist Kristine Sa and R&B/Pop Artist Vudoo Soul to Dallas for one night only!! Flying in from California and Boston, MA, the two famed Vietnamese-American artists will be joined by a backing band of top-notch musicians from the Berklee College of Music. Come out for a night full of great music, drinks and dancing!!!
